Yesterday had its highs and lows:
First, Wisconsin showed up for the Big 10 (maybe they should’ve gone to the Rose Bowl instead of Michigan, but then again maybe not the Trojan's would've beaten the pants off of them). Good job Badgers. I was worried there for a little while, the third quarter was some pretty bad football, but Wisconsin pulled it together in the end.
Next, (the low light) Michigan…what happened???? I guess the Trojan’s are just too much for our Big 10 teams. Someone needs to knock the Trojan's off, I though the loss to UCLA would slow them down but I guess I was wrong.
Finally….(not a Big 10 team) Boise State…what more can I say. Can the Little Guy really win, Boise State says they can. After OT I didn’t think my nerves could take any more (and I’m not really a Boise State fan, just an underdog fan). Twice I thought the game was done and Boise just kept coming back. It was one of the best football games I have ever seen!!!!!! There needs to be a play off in the BCS.
Oh!!! I almost forgot to add another job well done by Penn State for the Big 10 (I didn't actually get to see the game)! I only wish my Boilermakers could get their act together and play some football. We just haven't been the same since Drew graduated.
